That comment was soooooo insensitve and with my big ass mouth I might have tole her just HOW insensitve that really was...who does she think she is?? no my pref. has not changed at all I still attract the same men and since to me I am still "Big" like she said...arrghh i can't even type anymore you should've givin her the "business"...point blank she's had the surgury she know how delicate "we" are about our weight!

Wow Forbidden, I must say when I peeked at your profile you are definately NOT SHY...hmm... my preference never change....I always loved tall hansome FIONE medium built men when I gained weight and I still like em that way ...

My preference hasnt changed since the surgery,   it changed before the surgery.

Good luck with finding a new boo......they are out there just gotta be discerning and avoid superficial people like the person you were apparently talking to. 

I have found man, woman, cat or dog.....redeeming qualities has very little to do with physical appearance and more to do with a person's character 





 

Actually, that comment regarding big men is not as uncommon as some may think. 

 

I'm married so I don't have a preference anymore ~I don't think~ but it has and always will be, height and skin tone.....in fact, I did go some shades lighter with the hubby....I wish he would get some dayum sun.....however, I do prefer thicker men....like husky....versus a toothpick.   I like tall men....someone I can look up to even with my 3- and 4-inch heels......then he must have NICE TEEF.....FRESH BREATH....CLEAN BODY....and WELL GROOMED. 

He must like a woman with multiple characters ~bwahahaha~ and  he must have a "hint" of thug! I cannot deal with a man who has fear or no knowledge of the hood/streets.

He must accept his woman is a girl by birth and a tomboy by right!  She curses....burps....beat her chest....talk ****but knows how to be a lady in public and his desire in the bedroom.

That's all.....but yes, opposites does attract. LOL

Unfortunately, I know a woman like this too...who has managed to change her body, but not change her mindset...

Your friend has obviously forgotten all of the "pretty face, but if only..." (and other less nice) comments thrown her way.  Or worse, it's so ingrained in her that now that she's "hot stuff" she's imposing the same hurtful standards on others... it's a pity...
