I'm not crazy about the sprouts, but I love asparagus. Try roasting them: Put 2 Tbls of olive oil in a zip lock bag, add veggies, and season to taste (salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, parsley, dill, sage, . . . whatever you feel like). Shake it up and roast at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes. Yummy!! I like to mix asparagus, broccoli, red potatoes, and carrots.
