Hey BAF - Haven't been on here much...working quite a bit...

I'm asking for prayers today...

My Godsister, Shirl, died on Wednesday.  She was 41 years old, a wife and mother of 3 children, the youngest only 5 years old. Shirl died from a very aggressive breast and lung cancer - she was diagnosed over 4 years ago (never smoked). 

My dear Sister and friend, Carole, who is battling breast cancer.  Niecy and I visited our friend in the hospital this past Friday; she went home Saturday, only to be re-admitted this past Wednesday.  Please, please say her name out loud...she truly needs prayers.

And last, for myself.  I learned yesterday that I will have to have surgery to repair a torn ligament in my ankle - surgery is scheduled for Monday, April 13.  Although the doctor tells me this is a simple procedure, after my wls almost 6 years ago, I vowed (if I could help it) I would NEVER undergo another surgery...now, I must undergo surgery to correct this tear - to prevent even more damage to the ligament and my ankle.

My heart is so heavy right now...but I know that God is near....I do feel His presence around me, thus, I will walk through this storm with Him as my guide.
