Model Me???

Hello beautiful people!
 
Well this has definitely been a journey for me.  While I am 4.5 years out and still have 50-60lbs to reach my goal...I still feel good about my accomplishments.  When I was at my heaviest..I never really put much thought into my dress.  I mean I was always neat and clean but I did not have a fashion sense at all.  Here are just a few examples of the way I would actually dress.

This was taken in Senegal at Goree Island.  Don't I look a hot mess?  



Me with that crazy a@@ Jerry Springer.  Look at this outfit! What the heck was I thinking. Look like I went to a rummage sell before going to the show.




Well my fashion sense is getting better and better as I shed the pounds.  I even had the nerves to be in a fashion show last Saturday.  I still have 50-60 pounds to go until goal...but I think I look pretty good. I have lost another 5 pounds since this pic. I just wanted to share that I am feeling so good and so blessed these days.

Congratulations on your success.  The blue looks good on you.
I would also like to say how jealous I am you met Jerry Springer.  I absolutely love him and to this day I still watch is over the top nutball shows.  My favorites were back in the day when he would have the black and white racists and now my favorites are the "OMG, I'm secretly a man/woman" shows.  Man I love me some Springer.

Thanks so much. I guess the most important thing is that I feel oh so much healthier. Yes, that Jerry Springer was a trip.  The day I saw the show they had the "is he the daddy & baby mama drama" popping off in there.  That was at a time when folks wouldnt mind throwing a chair or popping someone in  the mouth.  Some of it seemed contrived but it was still kind of funny the way people on stage tried to work the audience and get them all hyped. One thing that I also thought was interesting....they gave the audience all kinds of junk food (i.e. soda, cookies, high sugar stuff) right before the show started..I imagine.trying to get people revved up so they would participate. Hope you have a good weekend. 

I think you look marvelous what a great transformation.  I am sure you will get what you want from this journey may God continue to bless you.

Gurl you look fabulous. The color looks good on you. Now when you come to Hot Springs bring that suit so I can borrow it. LOL  It really is amazing how the physcial change helps to change how we feel about ourselves. I have gone from the loose fitting frocks and baggy sweat pants to the pencil leg jeans and dresses that show off the new me. Again you look great!
