IM HOME...........
HEY EVERYONE!! I AM NOW HOME AND STARTING MY NEW LIFE. i would like to thank each and everyone of you all for the support and keeping it real encouragement. i went in as a soldier and came out as a soldier. after recovery they got me up to walk, i wound up walking the whole unit! then went back to my room drugged myself up, slept a couple of hours and then walked the whole unit again, this time twice! EVERYONE.......INCLUDING THE SURGEON was like wow no one has ever been able to go far as the sign outside the door. so u know i was frantic after that.....lol. my pain was not too too bad, except the left side kind of giving me some grief. i am having the issues getting up and down out of the chair and bed. other than that i am fine. they kept asking me in the hospital if i had had a bowel movement and/or gas and never did while i was there, yesterday when i came home i let out a few poots.......lol. but still no movemebt of the bowels yet. as far as eating goes, i have been actually able to keep down mash potatoes, and a smoothe. thats all i have tried' havent had to much of an appetite and havent really been hungry. i have been sipping on my fluids though, trying to get them all in. im not sure of my weights right now, but i know they told me i weighed 301 before i went into surgery and i call myself weighing onan old scale this morning and itsaid 285. i know doggone well i havent lost 16 pounds in 4 days so i am gonna try to get a more accurate weight soon. so again thanx for all the well wishes and encouragement, i will try to keep up to date posts!
