Facebook???

I just joined and so far I mostly have WLS peeps on there and a few other friends. What do Y'all think of facebook? What have been your experiences negative/positive? I have a myspace account but it too is mostly WLS peeps and a few other friends BUT I have re-connected with some old friends that have moved so it's been cool. Just want some feedback from my wise folks here.

Personally I like Facebook a lot, much more so than MySpace. I have reconnected with many folks that I went to high school with and such, and stumbled across many I had lost contact with, especially from college, so it has been nice for me. I also like some of the games and applications they have. It's a bit more polished in my opinion (vs. MySpace).

I actually like FB - much better than MySpace - MUCH BETTER!

I keep in contact with lots of people there - church, friends, and of course, BAFers who are not here anymore (you'd be surprised...)

I love FB!!! Very good way to stay connected with people ; however, I am among many that hate the new interface that they recently installed. I want the old FB back...much more organized.  They are trying too hard to mimic Twitter.

I guess I am the only backwards mofo without a Facebook account!  LOL  I might have to go check it out one of these days........

I only joined because people kept bothringme about the damn thing that is the same thing that happened with the myspace account too

It is easier to keep in touch with folks that are all over thw world tho

You're not the only one, MM.  I tried it and hated it.  It's too doggone busy for my liking!  And personally, I don't want everybody who's ever known me to be able to find me.  I left my hometown & home state for a reason. 

Aside from that, I'm a very private person.  I refuse to go back to FB.
