I think i posted a few months back about my obsession with GM cars.... anyways, I am on my 3rd Saturn, I drive the Outlook, which i dont think is midsize--its crossover SUV that seats 7 or 8, but for awhile I did drive the Saturn Aura, 3.6l engine. That thing knows how to move and it is AWESOME on GAS!!!! I was going to buy it, but at 5'9" I had intentions on the long haul last year and we are going to have babies one day, and didnt want to be all hunched over trying to put "Jr Spelman" in and out of a car seat. Also, when we travel we ALWAYS rent the Impala! also good on gas and very very roomy!....Again, Im from Detroit and I'm all about GM!!
Honda Accords always top (or nearly) the list...they hold their resale, good on gas, etc.
The Nissan Altima was top of the list last year and Toyota Camry's also rank high...
notice a trend? All foreign. The only American cars that compare consistently are the Saturn line.
I won't have any thing else but foreign at this point. I have always had the best luck with them. I had my Ford in the shop more than I did out and the Chevy I had had absolutely no resale value.
