Hey Yall
Ok this is my day off from running. This morning I got up did a hour of high energy plyometrics which kicked my azz, and then I felt this overwhelming need to freaking do this run. So what did I do, I got up and did my run for a half hour.
What the hell is happening to me, I don't like running why did I HAVE to run, I felt like if I didn't run I would bust or something. LOL.
My knees can't take my head trying to turn into a dam runner.

Lee,
You could train for a 1/2 marathon. I did ... all by myself. You just have to take it slow and be consistent. That way you build up your stamina.
Go to a bookstore and get any book by Jeff Galloway. He has his running store and has ran over a 100 marathons.

Without struggle, there is no progress.
Girl I can walk 100 miles!! And I know how to guage my breathing with walking, but for some reason I can't get it together with the running.... I'll run/jog for a few minutes then walk.... my heart rate elevates so quickly.... I've not given up.... and I can run my butt off on that elliptical machine (no impact).... maybe after a few more pounds off, I'll be able to run successfully.... I ran last week for a second or two.... not to worry, I have a plan.... (I always have a plan; ok, more like a scheme.... I'll keep you posted.)
