I have another date...
Okay so Saturday, I went out with this guy and I know he probably thought I was starving myself because he was asking me what I had ate that day (I guess his way of saying he's hungry) so I told and he was like "that's not good." Then when we went out to eat, I didn't hardly eat anything. I'm like almost 2 months post op so I'm still eating really small amounts and being full. Anyway we have another date this weekend, and I don't want him to think I'm the unhealthiest girl in the world. When should I tell him I had WLS or should I even tell him? I don't want him to think I'm starving myself, but I also don't know what's going to happen between us and there's no need of putting all my business out there if it ain't leading anywhere.
Well, tell him that you are on a very strict/healthy diet. You are staying away from certain foods and drinks, you are working with a nutritionist to loss weight. This is the truth! Also, try to choose something on the menu that is healthy, baked fish, chicken whatever you can handle at this point. Maybe a soup. I personally would not discuss my surgery at this point, I would not want that to be a major topic of our date or relationship. As/If you advance then you will know when the time is right.
Well I tell EVERYBODY (that matters to an extent) because I do not care but to each its own and hopefully I will not regret it one day...My 8 year old brother on the other hand told his barber while I was standing there and went on to tell him other thigs...I can see why you would keep it from a person you are dating...I would hate for that to be the topic of discussion or them changing what and how they eat on a date because of what I/you cannot eat.

Just tell him you are making stride with your health and if he really wants a bite to eat...Cool, but you would like something light. You can go somewhere and get some soup...or go to a coffee shop, or somewhere to get a smoothie. Have protein added to yours.
It does not have to be a full move. It may seem difficult but these scenarios contribute to the unhealthy lifestyle. We plan activities around food. If we have nothing else to do...We can always eat!
Change it now. Take that man hiking...go to Barnes and Nobles...a comedy show...rent bikes...go to the mall and make each other buy a gift but you cant spend over 50 cents (AND YOU CANNOT BUY A COOKIE!!)
It can be done.
Wish you well.

It takes a lifetime for man to master the art of living, but living is much easier when he accepts God as his master.
