Grrrrrr

I took my car to Pep Boys yesterday for an oil change, tire rotation, and tune up. This morning on my way to my first day of work-for my second job. Yes We Jamaicans usually have one or more jobs its in the blood. Anyway, exactly five minutes from my job which I drove 40 minutes for, my new 2008 Toyota Yaris started smoking. I put on my hazard lights, put the car in park, hopped out the car, popped the hood, to see the oil cap was not placed back on!!!!!!!!! The pep boy mechanic ****** up. OIl was all over the inside of the hood and engine. A sexy cop pulled over to assist. Pretty ass blue eyes....ne way......he asked where I worked and I told him where. He said to put the car in neutral and he'll push me to the job as it was only 3 minutes away. I did as he said and as we went on a slightly small hill to get to myjob the car picked up speed, the ******g brakes wouldn't work, and as I tried to swing into the parking lot I ran up on the sidewalk five inches from a pole and my tires busted open bending my chrome plate axil, etc. The cop asked if I was okay as I hit the sidewalk very hard. He called me a tow truck...shout out to James (tow master) he's really cool we both lost 100 lbs within the last two years...for driving me back to Pep boys in my woods. Boy, were the mechanic and Store Manager shook at seeing the wreck. Yea! Yea! they fixing that **** please believe if not I can call my lawyer. So, I just got home and this all took place at 10:33 am. Talk about the way to start a week off! 

Glad to hear that you weren't hurt in the midst of all that.  That must've have been scary for you as well as frustrating.  OMG!!!

I've always had nothing but bad experiences with Pep Boys so I no longer take any of my vehicles to them. 

 

I should've went to the hospital and sue their ass but if they give me beef I'm calling JUDGE JUDY< MATHIS<**** SOMEBODY. More fiyah! Respect bredren!

See, this is the reason why I have my son do all of this to my car.  Those chain stores will screw you every freakin time.  How in de heyll do you forget to put the cap on the oil?  To busy trying to get the next customers money.  They better fix it!!!

All the men in my life are either in NYC or Jamaica, WI girl! 

What a Monday!!!  Happy you're okay.  Make sure they fix your car with genuine Toyota parts.

Oh I went to Toyota and got an estimate for their ass, but to be safe my girlfriend is providing me with her lawyer info.

Reason # 2,080 why I ONLY take my car to the dealership.  I WISH a mofo WOULD try to jack my ride up!!!!!

Glad you didn't have any serious problems while this went on.  I had a similar experience way back in college - ******s forgot to put the oil filter back in right and I leaked oil all in the streets - luckily I was not on the freeway yet - so I didn't blow the whole damn engine.........
