Hey Rhonda and others....

I rushed to the book store the first time he was on Oprah a few weeks ago.  I could not believe the stuff he was saying.  It was so true...  So off I ran to the book store.  It is a great read.  I watched him on Oprah yesterday and I laughed the whole hour!  It is worth watching.  We as women (not all of us) have some very high standards that we are NOT wielling to give back in return.  Not to mention we do make a lot of mistakes like giving away the "cookie" before it's time.  The 90 day rule, does come into play and up for great discussion, amongst many other topics.  Enjoy.  It also helps to question a man while reading the book, just to see if Steve is ON POINT, believe it or not, he is ON POINT!

Go get it, you will not be disappointed....

NIA!!!!!

Hey Babe!!!!  It's so good to see you!!

I'm reading Steve's book.  It's funny because after being married "forever" I can see where I knew what he is talking about a long long time ago.  I Did that ****tand I set standards, and I made him wait and I got to know him and I did really check him out and I WON the prize.  It is great to read, from a man's perspective what they think.  We sometimes have it all backwards and don't even know the POWER we hold - if we would just HOLD it.

I appreciate Steve for putting this out and trying to help the sistahs and brothers.  I Love it!!! and I hope it reaches this new breed of woman so they see where their power is and how to navigate through the tight rope of dating.

Miss You Babe!!!

I downloaded the book to my Kindle2.  I have read the first few chapters.  The only problem is I've been  married for a LONG time.  I was reading this book and thinking, I can identify with what he is saying.  I know you got to share the cookie or the other cookies out there will start crumbling to get some of your action!

Let's see, what kind of cookie would I be?  I would be the cookies that are left over after meetings at work.  The receptionist puts out an email that the cookies are available and in the the kitchen and all these guys stampede to see if they can get one.

Yeah, I want to be the cookie that they run to get before they are all gone.

Another "How to get a man...keep a man book," women are some really insecure creatures. Where are the "How to get and keep a good woman book (s)", I guess men don't care, which means the flip side won't work because it takes two to get IT right!

All of these books seem to make it to the Best Seller's List...If they were so great, why do "we" always seem to need another? That lets me know it is all Bull**** (SSDD); a good read, maybe. But in the end it goes on the pile with the rest of the "How to get a man books."
To bad men don't value women as women value men, other wise women would be encouraged to write books that men could buy on the subject.

Awwww come on now!!

Its a good book if a woman is trying to get a good man to stick around. This book is very insightful and real!! I think ALOT of sisters need to check it out. If a WOMAN who is creditable wrote a book like this I would read it.

its a good book and mandatory for alot of sisters going through some things.

AWWW, now Mr. B...when did Steve Harvey become credible about ANYTHING, least of all a good MAN. Isn't HE the one who DUMPED his long time wife for a younger woman, had his attorney to act for BOTH of them and then "JIPPED" her for her fair share, giving her about a $1000 per month child support (he making MILLIONS)...then she awoke from her daze of being jilted and got a NEW lawyer and he (ol Steve) was forced to do her right and his kid. This Steve Harvey, yea, he might know how to inform someone how to avoid the Steve Harvey's of the world.

Let's face it...when a person/group/race...is in the driver's seat, the "subordinate" is the one always trying to find out how the Boss is thinking and how to get in good...The dominant force don't give a dayyum about knowing how the subordinate force thinks or feel unless they want something. Skrew men telling women how to be a better "subordinate" to a rotten ass man. Shooot, LOL, people change...when someone loses interest them muggs can do some evil shyt...ask ol' Steve, lol!
This is just another book on getting women in line from a different perspective...TD Jakes been preaching the same thing for 20 years...Ol Steve just put his spin on it. Nothing's going to change on this relationship front unless Men change. And as I said, right now they are dominant, so there is no reason for them to change. Next year this will be another dumb book. But I am NOT averse to buying a bad book now and then, but he ain't saying nothing new under the sun...we all heard it before, he just funny.

I can't believe I'm saying this and it will probably never happen again, but for once I totally agree with you.  I think Steve is pretty much on point, but it always ****** me off that someone is advising women on where they're f*ckin up.  Someone needs to tell (some of) these men how wrong, stupid, foul, immature, ignorant, selfish, and ****ty they are.
