Hi BAF family.  I need your support.  I've been craving soda and candy like CRAAZZZYY!   I'm constantly at the store buying Swedish Fish and Jellybeans and eating them all!! The worse part is it seems as if I've gained 12lbs in ONE WEEK!!   I can not go back to the way I was.  I had to take action immediately.  Last week I went BACK TO THE BASICS and kicked up the exercise.  I'm happy to report that I've lost 6lbs in 6 days!!! I've been lurking around the boards but now it's time to jump back in full force.  I'd like to welcome all newbies, congratulate all losers, and encourage all pre-ops.

To everyone......Have a wonderful day!
Denise

Okay, Denise.

First and foremost BREEAAATTHEEEE.  Whooooosah, babe. Whooooosah.

Okay.
I think its natural for us to have cravings from time to time..hell, I know I have them and i'm only two years out.   The key is to NOT give in to those cravings ESPEICALLY for those "goodies" that are "badies" for us.

You have a wonderful day, too..and don't lurk so much.  Jump into the pool. LOL.

So you eat those things and not dump?  I know you will get it together. Congrats on getting back to the basics

Hi D!

I completely understand ...I have the same problem with cravings for cakes and pies.  A trick that has been working for me is buying such things as light yogurt (all kinds of flavors), applesauce, other non sweetened fruit and adding a little splenda to kick the sweetness up a bit.  Surprizingly a small portion...is enough to conquer the craving.  Have you tried any of the sugarfree candy by Russell Stovers...only problem...you still need to watch the carbs and fat content. When you feel your weakest....look at your before pic...that has been enough lately to slap my butt back into reality.
