Drastic Times Calls For

Desperate Measures...Weight loss has been coming along but I am doing nothing special to help...I am staying away from certain foods and not testing the waters...My issue have been water and exercise...This Monday things are changing...I have had 17 ounces already (which is amazing for me) and am now sipping on my 20 ounce protein drink which I hope to have finished by noon...Lunch will be at 1 pm (Skinless Thighs w/ BBQ sauce cooked in the crockpot and green veggies and the same for dinner...And after work I will get down 20 more ounces of water while at the salon prior to going home for dinner...I am so excited about this and to make things better I removed my battery from the scale and will leave it at wor****il Friday and weigh again on Sunday...I am on mission and I am going to win the battle..Thanks for the motivation BAF.

 FYI: I am going to dust off my treadmill and my Biggest Loser DVD's...I have 35 pounds to lose by July 1st and nothing is getting in my way.

Thanks Adrienne...I am soooo excited about it though...I know what it takes (after losing weight before) but I was not implementing anything special...I have 3 months until Summer comes and I needed a reality check...Hopefully on Sunday I will post some good news on the forum...And good luck on your journey...It is hard but exciting when we are doing the right things.

A few comments...

1. Be careful with the BBQ sauce....lots of sugar.
2. Keep water in your car. Take a squig every mile.
3. How often were you weighing before you removed the battery?
4. Increase your calories. I was advised to and the scale started to move again. Yippee!

Hey Wonkad..Thanks for the response.

1. Be careful with the BBQ sauce....lots of sugar. I eat bbq sauce maybe once per week if that and buy the sauce with the less sugar...I spend 2 much time at the market..lol
2. Keep water in your car. Take a squig every mile. I have a 24 pack of water in my car but it was 2 difficult to consume so much per day but at this point I am getting it in. Prior to today I was getting in less than 40 ounces.
3. How often were you weighing before you removed the battery? Prior to removing my battery I would weigh myself EVERY morning...So annoying.
4. Increase your calories. I was advised to and the scale started to move again. Yippee! What kind of foods do you eat now? I try to eat as much protein as possible and green veggies...Good cards here and there...I do not count Calories and probably would never...But I will increase my protein intake which should in turn increase my calorie intake.

Wow Isa... get outta my head!

I was thinking the same thoughts this morning... about me not doing anything special thus far.  I need to step my game up in terms of exercise.  Also, with the scale, I need to start weighing more often.  I'm only doing it once a month right now, but as that date gets closer, I feel more & more dread.  (Old habits die hard!)  I'm thinking if I weigh every 2 weeks or even once a week, it might help me get over this scale fear a little quicker.

I would like to weigh once per week...Just like good old Weigh****chers...Keeps you on point and aware of what you are doing...We can do this and whatever we put in is exactly what we got out.

Girl I here you on the mission I want to lose 15lb by my birthday 5/18 . I ordered the Jillian Micheal's 30 day shred and something else I get bored quick. I'm going to do that,  I get on the treadmill every morning and I want to start working harder with the weights so I feel you. It has gotten much easier for me to drink water especially since the weather is warmer. Find something that's sf to put in your water that you like and it will be even easier . I love the True Lemon packet with 2 equal taste just like lemon aid I drink 20 oz on the ride home ( I can send you some to sample before you buy them if you like ) and like 30oz in the office..baby steps then when you look up girl you will be walking or trotting fast

That would be awesome...Wow- 15 more lbs to go...That is great...You are doing excellent...Okay let me go to  your page real quick for some motivation...lol...I get up at 6 am but will try for 5:30 to get 30 minutes in on the treadmill...if you can send the samples that would be great...I really appreciate it...I am using the Carribean Cooler nectar and I love it...I am almost done my 20 ounce protein drink and it is not even 11 yet...I am proud of myself...

NO........ I didn't say I only had 15 to go...LOL girl I have 37 to go ,but baby steps....baby steps Lord willing I will make 37lb before May 29th 2nd b-day, but I will settle for 15lbs by May 18th my 1st b-day.
