I just want to say to be careful with the sugarfree stuff. It can have a lot of calories in them. I know that sometimes when I'm craving sweets I have a sugarfree worthers original. It is 40 calories for 5 pieces. If I just have one then I'm okay. Also I've had a no sugar added fudgesicle and it is only 40 calories for 1. I will have to admit though when I first tried them a while after surgery they were actually too sweet. Good luck to you and if you get into a habit of saying no to the sugar now it will get easier later on, but if you unleash that monster it may be really hard to get it under control again.
Y'all are soooo right when it comes to the calories in the sugarfree stuff. I eat about 1000 calories a day and I write down everything I put in my mouth. About 250 cals goes into the surgarfree coffee that I drink. Reading this post made me realize that I'm not as on track as I thought. I really have to do some adjustments to my eating plan.
