MM.  You will physically be unable to eat fast.  it will HURT.  Trust me, I've done my share of fast eating with consequences.
Truth be told, eating quickly is what got me to the hefty, not-so-jolly-fat-man I grew to be.  My thing would be to wolf stuff down, barely tasting it, and asking for more.  Now, I find that I eat slower, savor the flavor and become satisfied sooner.

Eating slowly is a must do.

Your pouch will fill up quicker and you don't have much room to work with.  You'll have to learn to chew your food more and take your time.  if not ==============> everytime.

This is something VERY important to work on.   Most doctors recommend that it take at least 30 minutes for a meal.  Your pouch empties very slowly and it takes awhile before you get that "full" sensation.  If you eat fast, you may eat too much and by the time the last of your food reaches the bottom, you'll be in agony.

When I met with the nutrionist she stressed that fact to me and told me if I didnt learn how to eat slow I would end up harming my stomach. I am a fast eater...like the food is running off the plate and im trying to catch it before it does lol...anywho from my meeting with her I have tried to be more aware of how fast I eat and try to slow it down...

I guess its good to start it while you are pre-op!!
