Couch to 5K, Week 5 Run 2, 8 min Runs are Azz Kicking

Oh goodness those 8 minutes are so dam long, the first one I thought my laziness was going to get the best of me because I wanted to stop so bad. So I made a deal with myself for every time I had a thought of stopping I had to run faster for at least 30 seconds and man did I end up running faster quite a few times. LOL.
It is very difficult but I did it and I know you guys are gonna want to stop but don't because you will feel so happy when your done that you can actually run 8 whole minutes. I am exhausted but I am happy I did it.
On Friday the run is 20 minutes straight and I am so so so scared that I can't run for 20 minutes. I was dying on 8 minutes how the hell am I going to be able to do 20. I guess I have to pray and watch the biggest loser the night before again so that it helps me stay motivated to do 20 minutes.
Ok, Yall I know 8 minutes are a long time but we got this.

I am scared like a mug of Friday, I will have to pump myself up and watch Biggest Loser and some other overweight shows to help get me through that one. LOL.

I did it!!! Believe it or not the first 8 minutes were a breeze! I actually shocked myself. I actually did 8:52 because that's how long the song was that I chose for that run. The last 8 wasn't as easy, but it definately wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.
I was dreading it before I started because I didn't think I could do it. We'll see how Friday goes!!
