No problem  Mr. DonnieBoy; just going from the question you posed,
" AM i still looking at myself through the eyes of an obese man? please check out my new pic and give me your honest opinions.. and be gentle.. this is my first time."   I sincerely wanted to give you honest feedback. But in the end, you do you and be happy.

Now I will say this...you becoming defensive over a question is a "fat person" attitude. Some of us tend (ed) to believe everyone is out to get us, to demean us in some way, a type of paranoia. If you had just asked, "how do I look?" I would have responded ...you look like a normal African American Male.

At my heaviest i was 310 standing 6 '3 shoulder to shoulder.. hardly the fat man in the crew but always the biggest dog in the pound which got old once i passed into my forties.. so i probably misspoke when I used the term fat man..I wasn't defending myself rather i was making my objective clear.. See, i have some close friends who all had the lapband before me and i was always telling them that they should stop losing weight because they were beginning to look like Al Roker.. Guess what?  None of them listened.. So after hearing the same comments myself, i thought it prudent to seek the multitude of opinons here in one swift shot...So yes in the end I'm doing me till it's done.. but you know the old saying, "if one person tells you you too skinny, you can ignore it.. but if one thousand tells you, then you might want to check yourself"  but thanks alot.. I think..

No harm/no foul. The only test you have to pass is yours. Get to a weight where you can maintain Wellness  and a level of comfort with yourself. You look good now, but if you decided to lose more or maintain what you have now, you can't go wrong, as long as it passes the Donnie test of Wellness.

My opinion, with your height, I'd drop another 30 lbs. of fat loss (as opposed to overall loss) and then shoot for maintanence.

be gentle.. this is my first time

Dude, you look 20 years younger.  You're about to BLIND people with that smile.

Your weight loss is very obvious in your pics from the summer.  Truthfully though, it's kinda hard for me to tell very much about your body shape/size in your "after" photo.  Maybe because of the structure of the suit and because it's more close up.

Overall inpression of photo:  a healthy, attractive, well-groomed and polished brother who likes to laugh.
