I AM SO FAT

I am so fat that I can't even walk around the dollar store (and you know how small that store is) without my back breaking.

I am so fat that I can't walk from my seat at work to the car without wanting to find somewhere to sit down and rest (and no the car is not that far from the building and that is even with taking the escalator)

I am so fat that it hurt my knees, hips, and back to stand at the sink and wash a few dinner dishes tonight.

Thank god I am having this surgery because I am too young to feel this way.

Andrea, you and I are both too young to feel this way.  I have been at a conference in heels all day today, beginning at about 8:30 am and we didnt wrap up until almost midnight tonight.  At one point around 10pm, I honestly felt like my ankle was going to snap.  It is quite embarrassing seeming that Im only 29 years old.  Take heart lady, it won't be this way for long.  We're on our way :-)

Yes we are almost there. It cannot come soon enough. This time next year hopefully my back pain will be a not so fond memory.

Know that we all understand!!!   It will get better....


Remember that you could be so fat that they have to knock your wall down to get you out the house. I know that does not make it better but soon it will be. TRUST!!!

I know you are right Candace. For so long I didn't accept how big I was and how the weight was affecting me. But today I realized just how much it is affecting me and how I am not living my life to its fullest potential. I know I made the right decision to have this surgery and today was further evidence of that.

You are not alone at all.My back hurts and I also have to lean over the sink to wash the dishes...My knees hurt all the time.I snore really loud and I choke in my sleep.Your not alone.Were going to change ourlives so this wont happen again.I wish you well on your journey...

I was like this too.  But it will get better after surgery.  It used to take me 2 days to clean a 2 floor townhouse.  A day per floor and I would start at 8am and finish around 5-6.  And at the end of the day my feet would swell.  Your days is right around the corner.  Don't be so hard on yourself.  One day you will look back at this and see just how far you have come.

I can relate to feeling this way. It will get better soon, your day is coming.
