I am fine with being submissive to my "husband" not my boyfriend. And when I am looking for the "one" I want him to have the ability to be a good head of the household. I believe in what the bible teaches that every woman's head is man and the head of man is christ. Now a part of being a good man is to realize that as your woman I may have certain strengths that you may not and vice versa. So there are things that I may need to handle and some things you may need to handle. Also as a good man you need to have a respect for me that you will not take this whole headship thing as a reason to be controlling and disrespectful.
I think when you are in a relationship that it is only right to give that person a heads up on what your plans are for the day or night. Especially if you are living together. But everyone has to come to some kind of understanding in their own relationship. What works in one relationship may not work in another.
