OT: Do you trust your mate to tell you how you look?

Wonderment on my part, really - do you trust your mate to tell you how you look?  If you are looking busted or a look that maybe YOU love but ain't working FOR you - would they tell you or are they looking to 'keep the peace'?

Reason I ask - my BF told me recently that a wig that I have been wearing in between braids made me look like a "cancer patient"..... that's why I have the one I have now..... but I liked the other one and thought it was cute!  I am miffed than a mofo that he didn't say anything!!!!

So - does your mate tell you?  Do you/would you really want them to? 

See - now homie got me second guessing everything I wear!  LMAO

My hubby is honest IF I ask his opinion which normally I do.  I try on all the things I buy for him usually before I wear it. If I think about a new haircut I get his oinion. Honestly, sometimes he gives me his opinion and I don't agree so I do me others I'll take change or not do my hair that way.

NOOOOOO...I don't really trust what she says...................................

My baby's always telling me "You look good" .   

So.........I honestly think she needs glasses and/or contacts!!!  (I'm Hoping to set her up an apointment with an "optometrist".............quickly.)

I don't trust the guy I've been dating to be honest.  He's too nice and wouldn't say anything that he thinks would hurt my feelings even if I wanted blunt honesty.

Hey MJ!!!!  Yea - especially in the beginning of a relationship - they ain't gonna say NUFFIN!!!!  lol

The question is do you really want to know... I know for me there a certain things I just don't want to know. I rather be ignorant.

my hubby will say something only if i really really really looked jacked! if i'm just a little jacked but think i'm cute, he will be quiet 2 keep the peace. fortunately (or unfortunately depending on the day) my mom lives with me and she is brutally honest about everything. lol!

LOL...im sorry you he had you out there looking like a "cancer patient"..but the question is does he usually have good taste/style...if he doesnt, then maybe his opinion should be taken with a grain of salt.

Since im pretty brutally honest, i usually deal with people who are the same (the lesser mortals can't handle it if it's not in a pretty little package)...so we really dont have any problem telling each other what works and doesnt. but i have a very critical eye, so edit a lot of stuff out in the fitting room/before it ever sees the light of day anyway.

He has GREAT taste!  He stays sharp as a tack!  He said that because I was in my phase of becoming comfortable with myself - he didn't want to rattle my confidence since I seemed so comfortable and happy with the look - I was like 'WHATEVER HOMIE!!!!'  you know what's hot and not - TELL me!!!!  LOL

Now I second guess everytime he tells me it's cool.... LOL!!!

One thing I can say about my hubby he will tell you "Like it is"!!!! Sometimes, I say to him well damn you HAVE to be so honest, DANG!!
