Ok, shows over....

Hello I am not married, but I know at my church the marriage cell invite the single cell to watch a movie with them call Fireproof recommend that you and your husband have date night and watch that movie it was so awesome . I that I went out and brought the movie. They also have a book based on the movie called Love Dare and it a 40 days commitment. I also that you do create a date night once week for your marriage. I am in a long term relationship and we have to do that because we both live a very busy lives and don't want the relationship to get bored.

 I started thinking about "Fireproof" and the Love Dare when reading this post.  I just got the movie in from Netflix.  I can't wait to watch it.  I heard it was good. 

My hubby just bought me the Amazon Kindle2 and the first book I am sampling is the Love Dare.  I will have to report back after I read it.

We are about to be empty nesters and I am going to add some spice to things and shake up the routine since we will have the run of the house.  

I say play the hand you are dealt.

i appreciate the fact that you & your hubby are talkin about this openly and honestly.  i like that better than you just steppin out on the man.

if the two of you agree to this arrangement, i say its all good.  if that works for you two, nobody else's opinion matters.

you know what Treen **** the BS...lol.. a lot of people (more than you know) have "open marriages". it's much more common than you think. and here's the thing i'd rather have an open relationship as such rather than someone who's out tipping and lying about it...but there must be an understanding...you have to discuss everything, there can be no secrets...and it only works if you're able to detach sex; meaning you can have sex with another without feelings getting involved...Can you and yr partner or spouce do that?

every marriage is different, what works for jane and jim aint gonna work for you and yours. NO ONE...NO ONE can condemn you or yr spouse for what you do in Your marriage, they ain't got a hell or a heaven to put you in!!!!!!you and your husband must find what works for you!!!! anything is possible with a clear understanding~

Treena, I have 35 yrs invested in  my marriage it may get boring sometime.  We have been thru a lot and have a lot more to go thru I be durn if I ever entertain the idea.of an open marriage.
Got married at 18 and showed him the door less then a year later
he decided to stay. Open marriage you would bring in a world of hurt for you and the HB and the kids. Not to mention the possibility of all what can be brought it with the open marriage.  I don't care how  bored I'm  shoot I go get a cold shower.Or a hotel with a little something something. Right now you seem to be going though a lot but thing going to look better. I don't care how open you are talking to each other that one topic I would never entertain.
