Couch to 5K, Wednesday Check In

Morning Yall

This mornings run I picked it up a bit and ran sprints for 3 of the runs, talk about tired.  LOL.  I can't stand not feeling challenged so I will always try to do something to pu**** a bit.  

I got my knee checked and it is a slight sprang, so I wrap it to run now.  That sucker gets so big but I am going to try my best not to let it stop me from finishing this program.  I hope when we get into the longer running times it holds out, if not then I will have no other choice but to stop.

I am so done with this week,  I can't wait until Friday so that this week will be over and we can move on to week 5, even though I am scared of the 20 min run i'm ready to do it.  LOL.   I am so dam crazy. 

Ok yall,  my run is done,  my workout video is done, my 500 sit ups are done.

ok surgery sis I hear you on the if I STOP I get FAT cause let me tell you surgery almost 3 yrs out I got to 148 lowest wt. FAMILY flipped saying I was too thin looked like a crack feen so I started eating high calorie food BIG mistake now I am at 169 that's a 21 pound wt gain OMG not good gotta keep working out I start stop only to start again and then to top it off I was at the grocery store this am and I saw the ENQUIRER and wow do I see STARR JONES in a swim suit wow did she GAIN just need to vent sis.. any advice throw it my way ASAP!!!!!!!!! I heare you and you know I have been struggling with my gain for a year now and it sucks, but I will tell you this I am finally losing weight and I am feeling pretty good about it.   I have been eating right and doing this couch to 5 K deal for a month now and my clothes are loose and i'm getting back down. 

It took my big summer trip coming up to motivate me to finally get serious but now I am very serious and i'm doing really good.  

You have to make your mind up now with that 21 pound gain to stop it before it becomes a 25, or 30 pound gain like it did for me.  I always keep myself moving but my big thing is the junk food, so I gave it up and I have one thing I want on Saturday, just the one thing not the entire day.

Maybe you may want to join us in this running program, it's really getting the weight off for me along with the biggest loser videos. 

You can do this, if I can you can.  Cause I don't know one person living who gets addicted to junk food like I do.

Yeah i'm still hanging in there.  Still trying to make it to my goal, it's only 15 weeks now and I will most definately make it.

Checking in...just finished my first session in week 3....I can't believe I ran for 3 minute intervals  WOOO HOOO ...I hope I can keep this up!  I did have to take a small break between the two running intervals because I was running on a path in a local park and some guy was creeping me out....circling between parking lots, hanging out in the woods near where I was running.    So just a reminder not to run alone in isolated places.

Yeah make sure you are not alone cause there are way to many crazy people out there waiting to do harm to someone.  

Look at you running for 3 minutes, isn't it amazing when you think of how fast you build up to doing something you thought you could never do.  

Keep up the good work girl.  I'm right along beside you keeping up my end.

Lee I have not run since Saturday.  Monday and Tuesday I went to the gym at lunch and did the elliptical machine for 40 minutes.  Taking break today, but will work out Thur, Fri, and Sat.  Don't know if it will be running though.  Darned knee...

But, I am eating well.  I've got that going for me. LOL.
