I will wait on the LORD- Daily Devotion

Good Morning,

Praise God for salvation and thank Him for being my portion!

 

Lamentations 3:24-26 (King James Version)

 

 ²⁴The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

 ²⁵The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

 ²⁶It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

 

Wow ~ verse 26 sticks out to me because of the word "quietly" for me it's saying..........no complaining or being impatient.............just wait for the salvation of the Lord.

Waiting on the Lord can be extrememly hard at time, but to do so "quietly" (without complaining, whining, doubting, second-guessing, etc., etc.), my Lord Jesus! You sho'nuff need the strength of God to do this.
