Ok so....day of surgery I weight 301 lbs. Today I way 203 lbs.
I have 38 lbs left to go and they are stubborn, I had surgery a 7 months ago and Im 5" 7" Im currently wearing a size 14 top 16 bottom.
And people at church as well as family members keep telling me that I shouldnt lose 40 more lbs. but my gutt is still everlasting.
Im not trying to be skinny I just dont want to be fighting the belly bulge for the rest of my days. I want to get to a point of maintenance.
But the strange thing about it all is its only the chubby people that are telling me not to lose anymore weight!!!
What in the world is that about. The next person that say's "are you sick?" "How much more weight are you going to lose?" Is going to get a BLESSING!!!!

Life is but a dream....make your dreams come true.

Girl, I've been several months into maintenance.  And still have some of my heavier "friends" telling me I'm too skinny and need to gain some weight back.  One lady straight out told me I was prettier when I was fat.   I started at 282 and am now 145.  People close to me say I look healthy and vibrant.  Listen to your loved ones, listen to your surgeon, and listen to your heart.  Block out what the haters are telling you.  Get the most out of this honeymoon period, because eventually you won't loose as easily as you do in the first year.  Get to your goal and maintain.  You don't want to be years out still battling that last 40lbs.

God bless.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Psalms 46:10  Be still, and know that I am God James 1:17  Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights....

Some people NEED you to be fat for them...they need you to be fat to make themselves feel better. Some people are gonna want you to be the "old" fat you so it doesn't seem as if things have changed.

You be healthy for YOU! We're neck and neck almost. I still have 52 pounds to go and don't care what anybody says!

I havn't had surgery yet but I will say that you had surgery to loose weight for yourself. You didn't do this to stop loosing when everyone else wants you too.You need to be happy within yourself. What were they saying when you were 301.Were they telling you to loose weight. Please make sure that your happy. They are not use to you being small.I have three friends that had the surgery and people did the same thing to them.My friend is 5"8 and she was a 22-24 and now she is a size 8 and she wont let herself gain more than 5lbs and Im proud of her.She promised herself that she will never be fat again.I hope that this has helped you......

Enjoy the weight loss ride because once its over its all on you. Your body will know when you are at the right weight for you. You will be fine. Some people just aren't use to change, they will get over it and move on.

Girl people started saying that to me at 2 months out. Now that I'm a little below 200 lbs, they are really trippin'. I must admit that I look a little sickly but I think that's because I've been sick. lol
