An upper gi is the same as an upper endoscopy!

I just wanted to say that an upper gi is where they have you swallow the white stuff and take pictures of it as it goes down. I've had to have a few of those in my life. The endoscopy is where they put the tube down your throat and look for things. I've had a couple of those done as well. My surgeon did not put me to sleep for the endoscopy, but did give me something to relax that made me groggy and I did have to have someone to drive me home.
