Oh yea! Weightlifting week 6...........
Phase II kicked off this weekend - did workout A - it was GOOD!!!!! I see the point of the program now - compound exercises. Everything I do works a minimum of three muscle groups - that's why I am so worn out after each one even though I am only doing 5-6 different exercises. I will be out of town until Friday evening, so I will do a light version of my previous workouts with just bodyweight at least (depending on what the hotel has in its fitness room). When I get back, Phase II workout B - it has interval training and THAT ought to be REAL interesting.
Eating is still cool - although I have to say my body is giving me MAD negative reinforcement. When I took almost a week off out of the gym - I lost weight! I got back on the grind... weight BACK! I swear - I think I was MEANT to be 188!!!!
I am still losing inches and my pants continue to fit better - so I am purposefully not giving a hot FLIP about the # on the scale.
We will see how Workout B goes - I think I might be cryin to yall on Sunday!!!!!

the book I am using is The New Rules of Lifting for Women: Lift like a Man, Look like a Goddess It's a 6 month lifting program that has different phases. there's an eating plan that goes with it and all the exercises are charted and explained. I really like it - it's working for me for sure.
So - get back on your plan!!! You didn't come this far to turn around and go back - and I am 3.5 or so years out myself - the ONLY thing that keeps me in check is my working out - plus it will help you look better.

This was me... didnt work out for 5 days and i lost 3 pounds... then i got back to working out an those 3 pounds are back... i was like what in the heck..but now im changing up my routine and my eating and we will see how that goes.... anyway glad to see your sticking to your plan
