I need some advice on what to do with my hair while i'm working out..
I sweat through my hair, so no style lasts..
I stopped getting perms cause I am just sweating it out anyway
I tried a sew in for the first time.. and took it out in 3 weeks..
I got a curly look and it was cute the first week.. after that it was itchy up under them braids! lol
I really don't wanna do braids cause i have thick hair.. and it takes foreverrrr
soooo lol now that I excluded all the good ideas already..
I need yall's help..
what else can be done besides weave and braids? or is there a better technique i should be looking into?

Suck it up and sit through the braids.  That's my only answer.  I am in a wig these days and going crazy wearing my du rag in the gym - will be back in braids VERY soon......

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Ditto what my hair twin said lol except i dont wear a du rag in the gym...i rocks the wig in the gym baby lol i have an admirer there and i cant be looking busted...

but i would do braids...very convient for the gym. You can get bigger ones and not micros and they take less time... i did that and my braids lasted about the same amount of time and i paid less money and i was able to take them out faster and she did them 4 hours faster

I had the same problem when I straightened my hair.  My roots were all wavy and the ends were straight , it looked a mess.

Now that I am back to my bun I just wash my hair like every week now,  Sometimes I will wa**** every 2 days if I sweat really bad.

I sweat really bad in my head too, but one day I go the genius idea to try a sweatband.  Of course I'm too cheap to actually go buy one so I just brushed all my hair up into a high ponytail (I don't actually put the band on it though) and tied a cotton bandana around my head (little richard style) and it sucked up all that sweat.  My hair wasn't soaking wet when I was done, so that's my new method and it keeps me from having to wash my hair so frequently through the week.  As far as hair styles, I wear a lot of wigs and tree braids.

Have you tried individals braids with human hair. This works for me I have thick hair as well and because it's not braided all the way down it goes much faster. Get them long enough so can put them in a pony tail. and the sweatband deal sounds good too

I rock a ponytail piece if idont wear the entire wig. But the pony and the bandana do work well, im still cute, and its catching the sweat, and setting my hair at the same time, when i come out, take off the bandana and my hair look all slicked back like i got that guud herrr<-- (good hair southern style slang lol)

I get my hair straw set or I wear a head band. Hope this helps!
