VERY GROSS QUESTION!!

Ok, i checked this solution and it is just the wash for preop.  I also checked my preop folder just now and all it says is one week before to stop ibuprofen and aspirin, extended release medications need to be converted to immediate release tablets for the first 3 weeks post op.  Buy chewable vitamins and some food for postop.  and the day before eat a regular breakfast and for the remainder of the day only have full liquids, and to shower with the solution before bed and in the morning before coming to the hospital. 

I had to do a bottle of citrate magnesium the day before at noon...and only clear liquids that day!  Def cleaned me out!

I was on a liquid diet for seven days...no need to do a bowel prep.

i have to do a liquid diet, but that is only about 24 hours prior to surgery.

I did a liquid diet 2 days before surgery.  I didn't need a bowel prep.  I think some doctors have you do the prep and some just do the liquids.

I was never told anything about a bowel prep, that is what made me think where in the world is all this crap in intestines is going to go, or is it going anywhere.

My surgery is on the 17th, I have to do a full liquid diet for seven days and a bowel prep, however I don't have any thing to shower with.
