VERY GROSS QUESTION!!

When you have the surgery done, i know a pouch is made and part of the stomach is rerouted to the intestine right.  My question is kind of strange, but where does the feces go that you have in you? we have about 6 feet of intestines and if you have never really been cleansed, what happens with your bile post op? do you boo boo it out afterward or do the surgeons cleanse you out while the procedure is being performed?

if I read your question correctly, I believe it is safe to say that a day before your surgery you will be taking a pre-op cleanser that will leave you squeaky clean. At least I did.

I have some kind of cleanser they gave me to use the night before and the day of sugery, but it is some kind of solution i am suppose to use to shower with i think.  I am going to check it and be sure.

Yeah double check because I was prescribed this stuff called Go lytely for the bowel prep and I was given a special solution to shower with the day of or night before my surgery. I was also instructed to wash down with antibacterial soap. I'm glad cause I wasn't allowed to bathe again until day 3.

I am SCARED I got no cleanser to clean me out day B4

OK...THAT IS A GROSS QUESTION.................

i didn't have to take any kind of bowl prep...but they must have cleaned me out pretty good during/after the surgery...cause i think i went about 3 or 4 days before i had a bowl movement...(and they would let me out of the hospital until i had at least passed gas...)
