And help me out please...

I'm in the market for a laptop and I'm pretty clueless about the technical end of it.

I need to be able to store a ton of music, pictures, things of that nature.

I'll basically be using it to play around on the interne****ch movies, etc

I want to be able to burn CDs and DVDs as well.

It needs to be fast as well

What say you?  Thanks in advance.

yes, I may post up in the coffee shop from time to time and it will definitely be my travel companion for trips

I'm also working on a lil side hustle so I may very well need it for a lil bidness too.

I have a Dell Inspirion 1720 with a 17' screen.  It's bigger than regular laptops, and the keyboard has the 10 key pad on the side.  I do a lot of spreadsheet manipulation and entry, so the 10 key is a must for me.

I have 240 GB on the heard drive - an AMB dual processor - so I plug a monitor into it at home and work dual screens.

Sounds like you also need a DVD burner and upgraded sound and video cards.

If Dell is the way you want to go - hit me on the BL, I will shoot you my Dell credidentials and you can price out through my discount program.....

I've used PCs forever; however, for graphics, etc., it is highly recommended that you use MACs...they are able to grasp the programs much easier...both of my graphic designers use MAC computers.

MAC is the computer for graphic designers, however for what she plans to do with the computer I doubt if MAC would be the best choice.
