Depends on how much money you want to spend.
If you are going to do some SERIOUS walking and eventual jogging, you want to go somewhere and be fitted for shoes. They do an analysis of your feet and fit your accordingly,
If the money is a little funny, my first choice is Asics Gel Nimbus. Next would be a toss up between Saucony and Nike Shox. Third would be New Balance.
Happy Walking!

Hi Cookie,
Thanks. It'll just be some serious walking on ground and treadmill.

The Nike Shox are the best shoe I've ever owned for working out.... so good that since the first pair I've bought, I've purchased nothing else (in a workout shoe). They are worth every dime.... the Nike 360 isn't bad either, neither are the 180s, but I like my shox. Try on a couple different kinds before you decide. Some shox are springier than others. For workouts, I use my springiest shox, but for walking I wear my leather shox. (Nike owes me some money for this commercial. Well actually they owe Cookie... she talked about them some time ago, I tried them and the rest is history, lol!) Luckily for you, they've decreased in price since the first pair I purchased. You can get a pair for under $70 now.... mine were one of the best $100+ investments I've made...
Thanks, glad to hear that the price is under $100 bucks. I am looking to spend about $70 so I will be trying on the Shox on tomorrow.
