Sneaker or walking shoe suggestions...
Howdy,
okay here's my mess of the day. Instead of going to Footlocker to purchase my sneakers like I should've, I took my behind to Meijers to buy some sneakers.
\O/ WHY WHY WHY\O/.
The selection wasn't the best and in a moment of temporary insanity I opted for some Dr. Scholls walking sneakers for $44.00's. Let's just say that they will be returned on tomorrow.
I will go on to Footlocker to purchase a pair of sneakers that wont cause me to break my ankles.
Soooo tell me, what brand of shoe would you suggest?
Thank you,
Que

It's good to see that you are feeling better. I suggest a Reebok sneaker, something light weight. But tell them you plan to walk. Be careful of plantar heel...which can come with any shoe; eventually you may want a heel "thingy" (forgot the name) to fit in your shoes. Now as I think about it, you may want to talk to a foot specialist for suggestions on the best walking shoes. My doctor told me that overweight people should be careful with their feet because you can do permanent damage because of the pressure factor, even though it is low impact.
