We too are a society!!!

I gave up on trying to show my little card a long time ago because most place don't even honor it.  I've even been denied or charged "extra" to order from the kids menu without a child present! which really pissed me off.  Anyway, nowdays, I just order from the regular menu and immediatly ask for a "to go" plate.  Heck, there are so many WLS patients out there now that restaurants would go broke if they started offering us special discounts.

I am 7 years post-op and have NEVER used a restaurant card. I don't agree that WLS should receive an discount what about people who naturally eat like a bird, do they need a discount also??
