Aiight - I took the braids out and I decided Imma take a break for a min - so I bought a wig.  Got the idea from Divawvs - so i copped a nice short crop cut and walked in today -

WHY are mofos trippin???  'Oh!  I didn't recognize you!'  'Oh WOW - your hair is amazing!'

IT'S JUST HAIR people!!!!!  damn!  And PLEASE don't EVEN go there and ask me how long it takes to style it (I hate when they either don't know or TRY to play like they can't spot a wig - not that it looks bad - but COME ON - you know perfectly styled hair ain't possible in Houston weather!!!!)

~smh~ only the few of US in the office ain't say nothin.... they know what time it is!!!!  LMAOOOOO

Anybody else STILL getting the 'alternative' syle police stopping them?

I hate this..the people of the pink persuasion is just fascinated with the different ways we can be cute.  It kills me!!  When I had my kinky twists people acted like they have never seen me in braids or other hairstyles.  I've been here 4 years people!!  Either you've never paid attention or you're trying to play me!!  LOL!!  "Oh that is cute; I didn't recognize you."  "How long did that take?"  "I didn't notice your hair was short/long?"

I am not fascinated...I will recognize you but I do ENVY the ability to change your hair dramatically every week...
but I do enjoy my $2.00 shampoo, no maintenance $14 hair cuts every 6 weeks too.

On the other hand, I made the mistake one time of asking my mother why her friend at work wore the same hair piece (very long ponytail the waft ol' skool kind) for literally 6 years, every day.

My mother thought it was her hair and embarrassed the hell out of me by asking her if it was fake...then went on to say her nosey ass daughter (me) asked why she wore the same one everyday.

Now she will ask me if people's hair is real or fake--never should have said a word.

I am seriously waiting for the first mofo to jump ALL the way outta line and ask if they can touch it......   hell to tha NAWWW!!!!!!!

Bwhahahahaha...that's the misconception ya'all have of us...
Pink people have been wearing the fake hair for years...
wigs
weaves
etc.

Shania Twain, Jessica Simpson, Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears...

but that shiot is expensive...$1500-2000 a time.

I would much rather spend $40 that my friend does for her cute azz bob weave with the curls you just freshen up with water.

I do have a couple of wigs though...when I want to be someone else.  I have a long one for "special" occasions.

Ok - I'm about to be politically INcorrect like a mofo..............

Yall gotta pay that much cause it takes more technology to get that shiot to 'stay' on that slippery azz straight hair!  LMAOOOOOO - I can lock and snap shiot on my naps ALL DAY!!!!!

HOWEVER - it's hard than a MOFO to find hair that matches our texture - THAT'S why yall shiot be looking perfectly natural - we have to try 4-5 different relaxers and shiot to match the damn silky yaky and other crap!  I STILL can't find a brand of straight hair that blends right.......

I think because black women are so versatile with our hair. We can rock a long straight ponytail one day, kinky twist braids the next....the week after that we may showcase a Rhianna cut, and then back to a  honey blonde lace front.

Face it, sistahs are amazing.

The same thing happen to me.  I have been rocking alot of diffent styles lately and they are like it is so nice. One girl had the nerve to say you are brave to wear so many styles I had to check her real quick.
