Ayy Yo...

I was in the barbershop last Friday and the topic of discussion was this sucky economy.  Of course!  One of the brotha's there said that the government should do all that it can to jumpstart the nation's economy, including legalizing the sale of Marijuana but not Cocaine.  Surprisingly, the votes were split down the middle on that issue.

I can see it happeining but I don't know if I would be for it per se.

What about you, BAF?  If you were one of President Obama's trusted economical advisors, would you suggest to him the legalization of Marijuana to help jumpstart this economy?  Why or Why not.

I'm pretty naive when it comes to stuff like this, but I never under why marijuana was illegal anyway.  We could buy it coffee shops in Amsterdam openly.  Would it jumpstart the economy?  Interesting idea.  Would it empty the prisons of many non-violent offenders whose crime was some pot?  Well yeah!

It's such a wild place. We went into this super nice coffee shop, and the guy behind the counter asked which menu we wanted to see.  Of course I was the smartass and asked for the one they don't show everybody.  So he pushed a button and the wall lit up.  Every kind of weed in the world - gave details about the location it was grown in and strength and such.  Pipes and paper for rolling cigs, brownies and cookies and candies.

It was a really really relaxing vacation....

Wow!

I'll bet Snoop Dog, Cheech and Chong, and Woody Harrelson all had their pictures on the wall too.

That's probably who was in the back room.  The nicest places in town were the 'coffee' shops.  All mahogany paneling and tables, with leather chairs....  Very laaaaaid baaaack.

I hear ya.  Did your husband get down with "the get down" or was he acting prudish and whatnot?

HA!  He had been stationed in Germany when he was in the Army, and he knew those shops well.  It's probably the only place overseas I could drag him to for vacation again.   Seriously with the get down!
