Myla,if it is the high blood pressure pill it will soon stop the cough, been there,in the mean time ask your doctor to prescribe a cough medicine,I forget the  name but it was red and it really works.I can amagine you are probably sore from coughing. This should work.Feel better.

Thank you, I had my doc to prescribe some tussionex, which I took over a month ago and it worked at first and then it stopped. I also tried some robitussin w/codine and that didn't work either. I don't know what else to do. Hopefully a week from now I will be able to tell you all something worked. LOL!!!!! I am willing to try anything at this point considering I am missing work an considering I live in MI and the economy is horrible. Thanks for the input.

Myla,

You have gotten some great suggestions.  Since you are taking a BP medication that could easily be the source of your cough.  If you are taking any other medication please read the advisory on them as to side effects as well.  I experience horrible coughing spells and it was a result of my BP medication.  Reflux will give you that cough as well until it is under control.  Quite a few bariatric patients develop acid reflux after surgery. Hope you feel better soon.
The question that I am asked most often:
 Is that your hair??????
