Maybe you should have cremated the fish. You know, clean out the insides (tell the child they don't allow fish parts in Heaven)..then season, bread and fry, uh, I mean creamate.

Sorry about your fish and especially for your daughter. I'm an animal lover to end and I had a betta fish that got sick in Dec. I thought he mighth have a bacterial or fungal infection so I put him in another tank and put it in my bedroom. Early the next morning, I rushed to the store and bought an antibacterial medication for him. At first it looked like he was getting better but a few weeks later, he gave up the ghost. My friends really think I'm crazy...they kept saying "it's a damn fish. Just get another one.' Oh well, is your daughter doing any better yet?
