Can't be mad at Haters but um...

If you're going to be hater, than do that.  Don't pretend to be a friend.  I'm referring to the few people in my program that I told about my surgery especially the obese guy in the crew.  They are constantly in my face talking about how they support me and how wonderful I'm doing...how if I need something they are always there for me.  Well, sh*t the fan with 3 of them and they had a falling out so they are spilling the beans about what each other said about other people.  It got back to me how the obese dude has a bet going that I gain all my weight back and will be just another WLS failure.  This other dude is going saying offensive fat jokes and feels that every time he smells something gross it must be me because all fat people stink.  Not even cool with me.  I never want that stigma so I take 3 showers a day if I have to so I don't smell and I don't appreciate him telling people that.

These dudes are more than 10 years older than me so I really don't get them.  They don't know that I know what they said and I don't feel like getting down on their levels and attacking them.  The best thing to do is let my success be my revenge because they are really not worth it.  God is good.

((((Angie)))) I agree let your success be sweet revenge!

People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown

Its true though.  I haven't lost much weight at all and suddenly guys that never looked at me are much more talkative, holding doors open, and just being more courteous.  Prepare yourself.

First and foremost, "A dog that brings a bone, carries a bone!"...All of them are tripping now since their falling out so consider the source and don't let them drag you down to their level...Age doesn't necessarily mean wisdom!...My Grandmother always said, "When you find them a fool, leave them a fool!"

Soon and very soon, they will be the same guys asking you out.   Don't say anything to them, just continue your journey, there will be others saying worst, just write them off as target practice for what is to come.  Stay blessed and focused!

ETA: There are alot of people that are supportive and sincere.  I don't want to sound as if everyone will be out to get you......lol!

When you devote yourself to achieving your goal, you will not be bothered by shallow criticism.

apple638,

If what you have "heard" bothers you, why not go directly to the person?  Everything that you hear doesn't have to be the truth.

OMG...That is so crazy...I do not know why people are so mean...I had a similar situation with a co-worker that I was really cool with telling somebody that she did not know why I was doing this and doing that and some other things...It made me want to work twice as hard at my goal... Keep your head up and show them what you got.
