There is some dude. I forget his name. He has all the BAF members as friends. Several including myself have asked him who he is and he won't respond. That and wanting to be my friend when you've never so much as said boo to me simply because we frequent the same site is dumb. If that makes me mean...I've been called worse.
Hey Kim, I do the same thing as you....I look to see how many friends we have in common. But there is one person that is friends with all of the BAF folks and I have NO IDEA who he is. Does anybody know BigDawg Daniels??? Was he ever on the board?
As far as all of the other requests, I ignore them all (ie, snowballs, hugs, calendars, etc)

He was one of my first friends..I thought he was Big Sam!!! 
Since no one knows who he is I am deleting him!
ETA: BTW if you want to stop the emails go to settings and then my account and click on the notifications tab and turn everything OFF!!

I'm on Facebook and most people have their profiles so you can only see their name and if you want to request their friendship...I have met people through friends but that's about it because I have my profile set up so that you either have to know my name or my email to invite me to be a friend...
