The Time of Your Life

Okay I am done being mad about food stamps... happy thoughts now...LOL

Has anyone been watching the VH1 special Black to the Future? I have really enjoyed this series...they touched on every thing I loved about certain decades...Arsenio Hall, Living Color, Martin, Sanford & Son, Afros etc...EVERYTHING that will have you thinking about the good ol' days! If you have no****ched it you must catch it!

So anyways it got me to thinking about the best time period in my life... Besides where I am now I would have to say back when I was 7 until 12. During this time my best friends were my cousins and younger aunts and uncles (some of you remember me talkin' about my grandma gettin' hers..lol) There were 13 of us joined at the hip. 

We were into scaring one another...makin' haunted houses and shiot..running from trains because we thought hobos would jump off the train and eat us alive..lol... We were some bike and big wheel riding fools.. We'd also make a toy out of ANYTHING...cigarette butts were tyco like cars...LOL...We use to have a ball! 

What is your more memorable time period? 

MAN!!!  I recorded that  - it was TOO damn funny!!!!!!

My happiest time?  Sorry cuz - I ain't going back to childhood for NUFFIN !!!!

I'm LIVING LA MEJOR VIDA  right now!!!!!  LOL

I feel you on the your time being now...I can honestly say, removing the bullshiot, that I am loving where I am as well!! 

I would have to say my BEST time would be from  junior high. My cousin lived with me and we had the BWIC (Black Women In Control) group and BBIE (Black Boys In Effectt) was our rivals. We did talent shows, dances and I even had my first kiss during that time period. I remember my 8th grade year I got my butt whupped every day from January-May because of hanging out with friends after school. In ninth grade all my "grown up" problems started. lol

I really needed for you to be a little more sneaky with yours that don't make no sense gettin' yo butt whipped that many times! 

Oh we was off the chain most popular group...we ran the school/ My mom worked later and every day she would call home and eery day I wouldn't be home and got my ass whipped. She would tell me to get home before dark well in March the days got longer so I would stay out until 7 or 8 and get it every day lol

I didn't see that...gotta catch that one.

I liked my high school and college years.   Mainly because I was friends with all the different cliques...the nerds, jocs, thugs, whoever....AND I was able to get into shiot and either not get caught, or was usually the teachers pet and got out of it.  I got good grades and they THOUGHT I was more like the goody-goody girls.  LOL.  I had a BALL!  Toooo dayum much fun!
