Not at all.  And if anyone is surprised, then shame on them.  They are young and dumb.  He is going to have to kick her ass a few more times for it to really sink in that she don't need to be with him.

The Boy need some help. He is going to prison if he doesn't get a handle on his temper.

Prison would be safer than letting one of Jay-Z's bodyguards at him.  This is a sad sad story, for two such talented kids to be in this.

Jay-Z's bodyguards aren't going to touch anybody...please.  What's sad  is that so many find this worthy of gossip when only they know what happened forgetting as you stated that they are "kids".  Having money and fame doesn't not automatically give them wisdom or maturity.

I totally agree. The only people that know what TRULY happened are the two that were there. The media has made this about Chris cheating, Rihanna giving Chris herpes she caught from Jay Z, and everything in between. I don't condone a man hitting a woman, and hope this is something they'll never have to deal with again. Bottom line is these two are children who just happen to be living their life in the spotlight. I know I've made some choices others thought were wrong and whether they turned out to be mistakes or not they were my mistakes. No matter what anyone has to say experience is the best teacher and what most people like to learn from...experience.

I can't imagine having to live my life in the public eye.  I do wish them well-they are crazy talented!
