DC Girls Night out suggestions

Hey all,

Hope everyone is well!  I haven't been here is a while, a long while...but when I needed a question answered, I thought first to ask BAF.  Can anyone help me?  I'm not originally from here and I NEVER go out (though I've been here 3 years already).  A bunch of my Jersey friends are coming for my bday weekend in 2 weeks and I'm stressed about where to take them.  We want to club, to party, drink, eat, etc.  I just want to show them a really good time without looking like the, "I don't go no where, don't know DC, dummy" that I feel like.

Any suggestions?
Thanks, Nic

I love Posh. Young professionals, no hoodlums at all. I think it's Poshsupperclubdc.com or something like that. Make a reservation for dinner around 10 and enjoy a nice dinner and DJ. The dance floor will be packed by 11/12 (the restaurant turns into a club) and you'll have a table while errybody else is standin around, plus you'll avoid  the cover after a certain time. I took Phillly Diva and her man there and they loved it.

You got a lot of good suggestion. Layla lounge is cool too. I also like Jin lounge off U st, right next to Busboys and poets. I would cross Love off da list if you're around 30ish.

Zanzibar is def my favorite club. If you wanna stay close for dinner first, there's a Chinese restaurant (not a carry out) right next to Phillips that is really good called Jenny's. Me and hubby go often.

So many places in DC, I'm tryin to think of my favorites. lol. I'll come back if I think of more. But I would def consider Posh

Sounds great.  I like the sound of Posh....def sounds like it would fit my friends and I.  I'm gonna check it out and let you know how we like it.  And yeah, I already crossed Love off the list, I'm 34 and proud of it...so no thank you to the thugs.

 THANK YOU for the suggestions!
