Couch 2 5K People. Week 2 Complete.

Morning Yall

Week two is over Yaayyyyy!!!!   Can you believe we made it two weeks. 

My right knee is huge,  I iced it for a long time last night and yesterday,  it has gone down some this morning but it is still pretty swollen but not so much that I didn't run.   I am going to start just doing the program once instead of twice because my knees are not going to hold up if I continue this way. 

Todays walk/run was challenging for me cause I ran faster today and picked my feet up a bit higher.  I could feel my lungs getting bigger this morning after the run portion I had to almost stop and walk really slow for a few seconds before I picked up the pace.

I said my goal for this month or for the first week of march is to fit my jeans hanging up in the bathroom.  I tried those on today and they are still pretty tight but the ones I wear in my daily circle are definately loose. 

Well that's it for me today.   My knee is on bed rest for the rest of the day.

I did it yesterday for the first time in weeks. Not bad. I'll start week 3 with you guys. Shyt I was on week two for a month LMAO

You run outside or treadmill. It's gettin nicer I wonder if I lost enough weight for me to take it outside and run.

You did it yesterday,   Awesome !!!    Why were you on week 2 for a month??

Yes I run outside unless it's storming, if it is storming I make a running trail in my house and do that, but I prefer to run outside only thing is you have to be careful with your knees outside cause the ground is so hard. 

You started so now don't stop.   I am going to try to push past this knee issue and keep going,  I will only stop if I absolutely have to or Becca gives me the silent treatment like she does when she thinks I overdo it.

Yea I have knee issues, but I san say they are completely unnoticeable now. I used to go to the movies and when it was time to walk down the steps I had to hold the handrail for dear life! Went to the movies to see Friday the 13th and didn't have an inkling of pain. I didn't even notice till hubby reminded me. I might just wait to take it outside when I can do the whole thing.

I was on it for a month cause I did it so half azzeed LMAO. One week I'd do it one time....then the next week maybe once. I was so scattered with my other exercise I didn't get it down. But this time I'm setting aside certain days for it. I'll do it again on Sunday for sure. Week 2 today was easy so I'll just start week 3.

I wish I could do something half azzed.  It's like once I start I am like a pitbull on someone's dam throat and won't stop unless someone is beating me over the head with a 2 by 4.    That can be just as bad as not doing anything sometimes.

I'm off schedule with you guys.  I'm doing the CP 2 5K T, Th, and Sat.  M,W, F I do the weight training circuit  at the gym.  I do 90 crunches after each workout this week.  I'm thinking I might do each week's workout 2 weeks insted of just one.  Being as that I still am kissing 300 lbs I'm not trying to blow out a knee or give  myself a heart attack.

My darn knee is not doing so well right now.  I am glad I don't have to run again till Monday, it needs the rest.
