How much
and what types of food were you able to eat 2-3 months out...I definitely keep it healthier than I did prior to surgery and I feel much better eating foods that are good for me but I am not sure whether it is because I practice good portion control but my eating is not that bad...I can eat just about anything I want...(Have not and hopefully will not eat ANY sugars- Cakes, cookies, chocolate, ice cream and stuff like that)...I have a few chips here and there and indulge in a pickles maybe every 2-3 days...I am losing weight with good progress (55 lbs thus far as of 12/05) but I was under the impression that I would never eat good things again...I am very careful and stay away from Carbs and have them at a minimum...
How did you feel 2-3 months out? I am very interested in knowing.

There is nothing wrong with being able to eat almost anything... remember this surgery is a just a tool....you have to work it!
I am one of the ones that can't eat much and it is not a good thing... it really isn't...it totally sucks! Trust me when I tell you this...I want to have more food choices.. because eating the same thing over and over again is noooooooo fun!

More specifically, I'm eating: eggs, hot & cold cereals (Special K, grits, SF oatmeal), well cooked veggies, turkey chili, unbreaded wings (or wingettes, I think they're called), dark meat chicken, fish, shrimp. ETA: SF pudding, some fruits, deli meat, soft cheeses, pita bread. All in extreme moderation.
What does not sit well with me just yet is ground meats, for whatever reason. The turkey chili doesn't sit well at times, but most often it's okay if I eat it really, really slow.

Like you I can eat most things in moderation ,but I have been sticking mostly to chicken and turkey products. I do not do fried and try to stay away from the carb monsters. I can do fruit and veggies anyway cooked or raw. I do my protein drinks for breakfast every morning. I love different types of salads with different veggies and vingeretti dressings in moderation.
