Can anyone relate???
I told no one what I was doing because I knew there would be a lot of negative comments, no one really questioned me about the weight loss because 2 weeks prior to surgery I was in & out of the hospital having different procedures because they though I was bleeding internally because I was severally anemic and I simply told everyone I was have exploratory surgery so they would leave me alone.

Hey thurr,
I can truly relate but will admit that my revision support has been much better. My loved ones saw how crucial it had become and we all knew that they would not want to be providing me with 24 hour care AND I didn't want to land in that predicament, so everyone fell in line and the support has been spoiling me this past week.

because you have to live with the choices you make. I had the surgery and am 2 weeks out. It is
a life changing experience. If this is what you want, go for it and don't let anyone keep you from
your goal. You know what you want to achieve, so stand strong and remember people fear what
they don't understand. Continue to educate yourself about WLS and it effects, and as everyone
else has said: you don't have to justify yourself to anybody! I commend you on your choice and
my support and prayers are with out as you proceed on your way to better health. I look forward
to seeing you on the loser's bench!!

What I don't like is when people insinuate that I won't be successful with the surgery. I get you have poor eating habits now what makes you think its going to change after surgery. Duh if I had good habits now I wouldn't be having the surgery.
