I thought I was doing everything I was suppose to do..
WHY are you eating crackers????!!! PLEASE take advantage of this 'honeymoon period', it will NOT come around again. I stayed away from most carbs my first year, and even after that. I didn't add them back into my diet really until I got pregnant at 17 mos post-op, because my blood sugars were crazy.
i added crackers in to my diet because I was sick of only eating meat and veggies all the time. So I would throw in a few cheese crackers every now and then. I never eat bread, rice, etc so I just wanted some variety. I was told at three weeks I could have crackers ,but I waited till a while after that. Well I am going to stay away from the crackers for a while.
Check out Kay's Naturals. They have cracker/chip type thingies for that 'crunch' that are actually high protein. A while back they had a thing on their website for some free samples. I got them just to try, and they aren't bad. A couple of them I liked a lot.
I know how you feel, as I have carb issues myself that I fight all the time. But you are SOOO early out and in that easy losing phase, would hate to see you waste it.

I have nothing new to add, it looks like #1MM said basically what I was thinking. i just wanted to wish you good luck and support. It is hard int he beginning when you expect to lose quickly or at a steady rate. We started at about the same weight and I know it can be done so good luck again!

When I was early out, I would eat tuna w/ crackers all the time. At about 6 months out, I stopped losing. It was at that time, that I decided to 'X" the crackers and frivolous carbs ( I don't even do protien bars b/c of the carbs in em). And ya know what, with exercise, I started losing again. Me and carbs do not get along. As a matter of fact, carbs are my "crack". Trust me, I am a recovering "crackhead" who suffers from serious addiction relapses.
Everyone's body is different. Some people can do carbs with no problem, some can not.
Some dump sugar, some do not ( I unfortuantely, do not)
Listen to your body, if you find that since adding crackers and possibly a ton of salad dressing to your salads that you have hit a slow-down or stall. You've found your culprit.
Get on cookie's protien train, and do some high interval cardio.....that'll change things around for sure!
Good luck!
