Celebrating with Food

Well it has been something 2008.  You guys know I like to cook right?  Well I did not cook Christmas or New Years and not many others day...so outta my zone.  Anyway...I have finally gone through a series of storms in my life...the last one was losing my house of 23 years in foreclosure.....It was sold earlier this mouth.  Don't pity me or feel bad for me ...past all that...the best is yet to come.

Well I decided while I am packing up my stuff.I am going to celebrate the memories.....I raised my kids here, grand kids..this was family property.....I cooked my butt off in this house.

Today.....it is on.  OXTails , sweet potatoes, greens, beans and ground meat  cornbread and a banana puddin.  This should take us through the week, if company dont show up. 

The there may be a inner fat girl after all........

The best is yet to come!!!!  Having had a few mini-hurricanes in my life over the last few months, I am certainly right there with you.  God bless on the next phase of your life.  I'll be praying for your continued strength and if you get 2 or 3 seconds could you do the same for me ...

Enjoy this next week and Im'a send you fax my number so I can get a plate because that food sounds sinfully good!  Ya' know you can always move to STL and open that soul food joint...just a thought!!!

You know I love me some you!   and I will alway keep you lifted in prayer....now just to let you know there is an atty there that has been acting like he is all into me....so if he makes a good move and start be straight forward wit a sistah STL may be in the plan ...you know...this is the reason why I am not looking for a permanent spot.  Moving across the street with my mother til mr right or mr right now comes along.

Okay, so what time should I  be there? Man, that's a long ride for dinner...LOL!  I'm glad you're at peace with everything.  This economy is effecting so many people.  This is the 1st time of it being someone I know.  Now back to them there oxtails...LOL!!!  Much love to you.  Enjoy your food.

God wants to know, in our midnight situations, will we yet Praise Him? Considering your repsonse the answer was yes, God does have somehtign great in store for the thign that are on this earth are material and they all belong to Him. He will provide you with more than you will have room enough to receive. To God be all the glory, good and faithful servant.
