Where do I start with my thoughts for the weekend....OMG to the planning committee. You all did a marvelous job.  Everything was so nice and wonderfully planned.  I will say I had a ball.  From the time the plane landed on Thursday until I took off last night to return to Birmingham I had a dayum ball.  If there is another M&G in DC I'm there so put my name on the list rights now! The gift bags were such a sweet idea and if let me be the first to say I truly thank you for those and that alone was such a special touch.

To everyone that I've seen on the board and actually got to meet this weekend OMG you all have some wonderful spirits and some truly awesome testimonies.  I know I don't post much on the board these days but I do get to lurk everynow and then and Hondurian Queen, Judy, Mike, Pastor Di, CC, Candy, Japii, RoRo, Taw, Valena, Bamsmom (i did make it in before the sun came up by the way...lol), Faith, Kirby girl I am so glad to have met you as well.  You are a sweetie and hopefully when I come to Detroit I'll get to kick it with you in your neck of the woods!  Shavara (you are such a sweetheart and so is your friend), and to everyone I didn't mention by name (blame it on the al al al alcohol) I am so happy I finally got to put a face to a name and meet all of you.  I truly enjoyed our time together in DC and hope the next time we all get together you all will comeout again. 

Now to my sisters....Cassie, Donna, Tricie, Toya......there are no words.  NONE!!!! Cass thank you for always being real and being there for me.  You talk about my shoulder for you thank you for your shoulder for me....I didn't get to have an older sister and I thank the Lord everyday for putting you in my life.  It's amazing we met in DC 3 years ago and havent stopped talking yet.  No matter what anyone says I love you and I'm the blessed one to have you in my life.  I know I said it in private but let me say it here...you have a wonderful spirit and I love that in you so please continue to let your light shine for us.  Donna, you know you are the bomb in everyway. You always keep it real and keep me in stitches.  I'm so blessed to have you in my life and I'm so thankful to call you my sista.  Tricie....girl we met in Chicago in October and I loved your spirit then so I am truly thankful we got to spend this weekend together.  You are a nut and trust me when I tell you welcome to my sister circle (ummm nicca that's a golden circle ya hurd me).  I am so glad you came to DC and spent the weekend with us because you are such a sweetheart and you better be by the house the next time the CHOBS desend on the Chi! Toya my baby sister (dammit we need a family meeting I swear to promise)....girl i think we were truly separated at birth because girl i swear...i can't even quantifiy it in words.  You are just real 100 grand and you know what if people don't like that in you then oh the heyll welll...i mean you can't be a hater all your life (lol)!  You may be the baby but you've shown me so much in this short time....now if only i could have em dropping at my feet like you then i'd be good to go....oops neva mind I'm married so i'll live out my pimping vicariously through you (LOL)!

VONDA VONDA VONDA.....WHAT DO I SAY TO YOU GIRL.....YOU ARE AN AWESOME PHOTOGRAHER and such a sweet person.  From the time we got off the plane until we left you were there with us and I was so glad you were.  No matter what happens and what anyone else says you are a child of God therefore you are protected.  You are a barrell of fun and you truly remind everyone around you to enjoy life and not sweat the small stuff.  If you don't remember anything else I say toyou remember this...JOY DOES COME IN THE MORNING.

Ok enough of being longwinded but I just had to take the time out tosay these few words.  I'm so glad I came to DC and I'm so glad to have met life long friends and sisters on this board.... enough of the tears now time to go lay down and rest...because I hurt from my eyes to my toe!

It was a pleasure to meet you as well.  I say the same thing put my name down but the only thing different is I will come in a minimum of 2 days earlier next time just to be able to take everthing in and visit with my family who lives in the area.  Have a wonderful week.

Girl trust me when I say I'm glad I got in Thursday....whew I needed the running headstart.  I am so glad I got to meet you and hopefully it won't be the last time.  I'm going to upload the pics I took shortly so make sure you get the one's I took of you.

HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY BAAAAAAABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY I am so glad I got to meet you too girl.  I hate we didn't get to hang out more but girl I truly had a good time...now ummm where can I get that guitar purse missy?!?!?!?!  Ro, girl you are the same here and in person and I admire that  about you.  I was so happy to finally meet you in person

((((C C)))) I was so glad I finally got to meet you.  Girl you have such a sweet and kind spirit and I hope to hang with you again in the future.  I'm truly glad you came out to DC to hang with us.

Chay, girl...you know how WE do!!!  I had such a wonderful time hanging with you all...being the oldest among us, y'all know how I am in certain situations....but yet, you don't judge me.  My tolerance for certain things, people, etc. is a little different than most..but you all don't judge me -and for that, I am grateful.

Your friendship means more to me than you'll know - and I cherish each day that God keeps us as friends. 

Now...about that family meeting...yep....we must schedule that - cuz somebody's got some 'splainin' to do as it relates to you and your IDENTICAL TWIN!  And, as I said in my post...I was taking notes all along...and was in the midst of transcribing them...so I can learn how to get my "swerve" on - You and Toya worked that thang...and I loved it!  (Talking about the men all pausing...dayum! Bwahahaaaaa!!!)

Now...Vonda's friend told me/her that he did not think I was over 39 years old...and that was his limit....so, I'm officially "39"...

I love you, Sis...and yes, dem bones still hurt...my feet hurt...my thighs hurt...heyll, my eyeballs hurt....but I wouldn't trade the pain for the fun I had this weekend!
