It is so great reading that everyone had such a great time in Dc. I was so sorry that I have so much going on and couldn't hang out as planned. I was happy to make it to Zanzibar to get in what will probably be the last outing with my girlz for a minute.

Zanzibar isn't the best place for conversation but it was nice to finally get to see folks in person from the board...you looked fabulous ladies. 

Well...as huge as that Zanzibar crowd was...I'm glad I finally got a chance to see you!!!

Hey D...I want to thank you for working so diligently to help make the meet & greet a success.  You are truly about the business and I appreciate that about you as it made things much more smooth.

We definitely need to talk as I want us to do dinner before you leave and your byline couldn't be more fitting because you'll forever be one of the DMV Diva's!!!

I love you lady...your spirit is calm and you're just so real...and I thank you for the friendship we've formed as it means more to me than you'll ever know...you are just a very nice person and while most people can't handle your "bluntness" I appreciate it as you're like me and don't sugarcoat stuff to make folks feel good.

I'll definitely be talking to you in a while...and again...THANK YOU for everything.

I did not get a chance to meet you!!!  We drove in Fri and left Zanzibar early I was tierd...Hopefully I will get to meet you in the future.

Glad you had a good time.  I'm sure there will be opportunities to meet in the future.

Hmph!!!

First, I asked each and every member of your crew if you were coming out, and each and every one of 'em told me "No."

Then, I pressured them to reach out to you and find out if you could be swayed. Even THEN, I was greeted with the SAME response!!

THEN, SHAH'-ni (get the pronunciation right, people!!! She'll correct you ALL NIGHT IF SHE HAS TO!!!) told me that you'd be at the spot. I really had had enough that night, but encouragement from Vonda (not alot, either, I might add!!) and the fact that you'd be there was more than enough to sway me!!!

SO... We finally get to the spot....
I finally see you....

AND YOU DISAPPEAR INTO THE VOID THEY CALL THE WOMENS BATHROOM!!!

(I swear, your blouse MELTED through my fingers!!!! I got THAT close!!! No joke!!!)

I hate that I missed out on meeting you, Miz D.

Oh maaan! That is messed up I can't believe you saw me and was that close because I did look for you.  If I remember correctly by the time I went to the bathroom I was tipsy as hell.  I got hugged by so many people and truly only remember Houdurian Queen and a couple of others as being the only newbies I met...lol.  I was flicted as I needed to be.  I may not remember too many people but dayum that outing relieved the stress I was feeling!

Miz D, I truly enjoyed meeting you and I enjoy your "bluntness" on the board also. Thanks for being on the committee. I had a great time in chocolate city.
