My Godmother had her lapband surgery on last Tuesday.  Her lapband incisions are itching (a sign of healing)  She asked me if there is anything that she could put on it. She is saying the itching is driving her crazy.

Anything you put on there might inhibit the healing process.  If its really bothersome she could take an over the counter Benadryl maybe.

Daises, do you attend support group meetings at PA Hospital?  If so, will you be there tomorrow night?  I will.

Me too Shontay. My largest incision does itch from time to time and I agree.

i know it itches like hell, but please i would advise against her putting anything on there at all unless she gets it from her surgeon..i say this because one of my incisions did get infected....i could not get my first fill for a couple of months due to the infection...it's not worth the risk!!
